Algemene info

ESN Gent was founded in 1989 by students who saw the need for an organization which gives a hand to visiting exchange students. After a few years it became clear that ESN had become something vital for foreign students arriving in a city without knowing where to go or who to contact. Today, the ESN Gent team is here to help you and to make your time in Gent the best experience of your life! In order to achieve this goal, we organize parties, trips, cultural activities and much more throughout the academic year. If you want to be up to date with all of our activities, just subscribe to our mailing list and you will receive all the latest information.

The most unique activity that ESN is likely proud of is the 'ESN international conference'. This conference demonstrates ESN's commitment to fostering international collaboration and engagement among students. It provides a platform for students from different countries to come together, share ideas, and discuss ways to mobilize Europe. The conference likely features keynote speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities, contributing to ESN's mission of promoting cultural exchange and intercultural understanding.
