StuRa is the student council for and by the students from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. Our main goal is to represent the interests of the students Political Science, Communication Science and Sociology. We sit in different meetings with professors and university staff. This way we have a say in the policy of the faculty and the quality of the programmes. Furthermore, we make sure complaints raised by students concerning education (problems with courses, difficulties with professors or exam schedules…) are handled in an efficient and effective manner. StuRa meets biweekly to debate the ‘hot topics’, adopts a clear position and keeps students up to date about the ins and outs of our university. Our meetings tackle the serious issues, but take place in an amicable atmosphere where everyone will feel at home. All students are always welcome at our meetings. In short: attending our General Assemblees is a perfect way to learn about our faculty and meet new people!.
