HSC Dionysus is an association in Ghent for students from Ostend and its environs. We are a lovely bunch that tries to bring people closer together. Besides the typical, collegiate activities we also put our best foot forward as regards sports and cultural events. Last academic year for instance, we placed second in the SK Ghendt sports competition. An established event within our association is the quinquennial ‘vatrolling’ (barrel rolling) in honor of the creation of HSC Dionysus. During this lustrum activity we roll a barrel from Ostend to Ghent. The finish in the Overpoort is celebrated each edition in the company of the other SK0-associations.
