Geologica is the faculty association for Ghent University Geology students and sympathisers. Geologica has fifteen enthusiastic praesidium members who make sure that the Ghent-based geologists can enjoy some social interaction, ‘memorable’ parties, sports and culture! Geologica was founded in September 1968, which means that we celebrated our 50th birthday a few years ago, but it is our mission to make this one equally unforgettable. Between classes you often find us in the ‘Geokot’, our room in the S8 that we share with the ‘beloved’ geographers and surveyors. Furthermore we are in close touch with the other science associations with whom we share several activities throughout the year.
