MaTRak is a theater for students based in Ghent. We perform three to four plays each year, directed by different directors. Our association was created for and by students, which makes us unique. Every student is a potential actor or director. Participating is very easy: the auditions take place at the beginning of October. The auditions happen in group en make sure that everyone can surrender to the ‘theater microbe’ at their own pace. You don’t need to have experience to become our star player. Furthermore, we go on a weekend trip all together in order to get to know everyone (including the actors of other plays). By collaborating very closely with your group for a whole year, you make friends for life.
