Since 1923 is the Vlaamse Economische Kring the official student association of the entire Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. We provide the study books of the students and give the first bachelors tips to organise their first exam period. For the master students we have VEK Recruitment, an organisation that helps these students find a job on the labor market and provides the first contact with companies in different sectors. In addition, we provide you the necessary relaxation between classes and we organize the following activities: from the weekly running club to go karting, from a city trip to a great ski trip with our famous après-ski and from our pub crawls to our famous gala. Every student is welcome at all our activities. After the Easter vacations we organize Student Street Soccer, a two-day soccer tournament, where more than 20,000 students come to enjoy the cheap drinks, summer beats and of course a grand women and men soccer tournament. You can always find us in our own renovated bar, the Yucca, where you can drink cocktails, soft drinks or a fresh beer at student prices. During the day you can enjoy the sunny terrace with a fruity drink and in the evening our café is transformed into the best nightclub in Ghent.
