United Nations Youth Association Ghent is the youth department of the Association of the United Nations in Ghent. The principles of the United Nations serve as our guide. As an association by and for students we are mainly occupied with international topics that are on the United Nations’ agenda. We organise lectures on current international issues, visits to embassies and Model United Nations ‘mock’ sessions. The latter is an interactive session where we simulate different bodies of the United Nations and represent the viewing points of a particular land by ‘public speaking’. Furthermore, we travel abroad with our group to participate in the Model United Nations elsewhere in an accessible and collegiate manner. Does our organization appeal to you?
